I trying to plan a journey to Paddington late Oct.
I am trying to compare pricing/distance/changes etc from south east Kent.
Can anybody advise me on the best/simplest/quickest route please?
I can travel off peak.
Thanks

You mean around Dover way?
I'd go Dover to Charing X, then get the Bakerloo tube to Paddy.
If you mean starting around Margate then I'd go to Victoria then get the circle line to Paddington.
Both should be pretty cheap, and either no or just one change other than the tube.0 -
Thanks Cookie, I could pick up either one of those lines further up, didn't even think of Charing Cross.

The quickest by far will be to use the HS1 into St Pancras then either get the bus or tube from there - journey times are much quicker than going to any of the other stations.
Alas, that will cost you and is all dependant on where you actually want to start your journey."If you no longer go for a gap, you are no longer a racing driver" - Ayrton Senna0 -

Yes, that would be my suggestion, definitley the quickest and easiest. But it's pretty hard to give accurate advise without knowing where you're leaving from.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0
