Was watching the telly last night and seen this offer advertised for a free laptop.
You do have to have Orange broadband *shakes head* at £14.99 but the laptop is free.

Orange broadband....NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooo
I've got orange broadband - well, it's my flatemates who is with orange but it's me who has spent 3 months fighting with the Livebox router/modem! and it only now works for a little while then stops working for days - customer services don't want to know.
There is a website especially for complaints: http://www.orangeproblems.co.uk/phpBB2/
Which magazine said it's the worst ISP ever voted!
Even Oranges own forum is full of complaints and people trying desperatly to get it to work.
I would definately check that out especially if you want to sign up to something for 24 months - 6 months would be too long for me!
would love a freelaptop but not at that 'price'!
UPDATE: livebox has not worked now for two weeks now - have no idea when it will be back up!Light bulb moment April 07: [strike]£3,655 [/strike] Oct 07: [strike]£2,220[/strike] now 0 - 3 years of Uni debt to be added at a later datenow at Uni as a Mature student -update: now has a First Class BA!0 -
Well Orange = Wanadoo.....basically says it all..0

I had been with them since Freeserve days. I have never had any problems.
I used there own usb router at first, now with my own Netgear wireless access point / router, running 1 pc wired and a a pc and laptop wireless.I have a cunning plan!
Proud to be dealing with my debts.0 -
Watch out for the 2 gig monthly limit to, its pityfull.0

Who says you have to use the broadband service? Pick a member of your family who doesn't have/need broadband, get them to sign up and just never use it. Still a good deal getting a laptop for £179.88! Just cancel after the 12 month contract ends.
Oops it's for 24 months and first 3 at half price so that makes it £338...that's when you need to start looking at the spec of the laptop to see if it's worth it...0 -
Could you not just abuse the Bandwidth limit untill they cut you off then u've got it for next to nothing?

The currys deal is arguably better as you have the option of going with the unlimited option (including calls) for £19.99 per month

Well I'm replying to this thread via Orange broadband and I've had no problems with them (been with them since Wanadoo, not as far back as freeserve).
Wonder if PC world will give me the free laptop anyway?!
(probably not *sigh*)
However I would NOT sign up for a 24 month deal.......0
