Name mean one bank that would provide a card that can be used in Europe if you read threads I posted you see it s 2007 started this is not a knee jerk reaction to a recent events

Where has this need for a credit card that can be used in Europe suddenly come from? What are you even talking about? I've already provided you with a link to the MSE guide for credit cards for those with bad credit that includes an eligibility checker, I don't know what else you want.

Again, if you go to the DFW board there are many posters who hit a wall after years of repaying debt and needed another lightbulb moment to get them back on track.

You can bump your gums all you like about fairness. Is it fair that you defaulted on money you borrowed? Is it fair that these costs have to be passed on to borrowers who don't default?

Look apply for the Hippo loan, don't apply for the Hippo loan. You posted on here seeking advice, take it or don't take it.

You said a I year old default is that one year from receiving it or one year after it going from credit file

If the only thing you can take from my experience is when I got access to credit again, then I have nothing to say, and won't be commenting again.

Sorry you took offence to asking question but if you only had the default I year and applied and got credit it s make a mockery of the credit rate ing system and why did you apply for credit again then

I wanted to open a savings account and was refused, so needed to improve my credit rating for that, I will ask again next year after using my credit card for a few more months.

Having £800 to £1200 discretionary spending a month and not being allowed a savings account is a joke as well but hayho thats the way it is.

I applied for the card after using the MSE eligibility checker and I wanted a cash back card. I was rated at 80% chance of being accepted. I was given a £1500 limit. All my debts were paid off, I only owe money on my mortgage and I am working on pay that off at the moment.
