  • Ask your council about deferred payment. This would allow a debt to be accrued against the value of the house and would probably offer better financial results.

    It's worth asking but I think this is only available when the person has gone into residential care.

    Sorry misread the original post. Deferred payment would only be relevant if
    residential care required.
