A nice reminder..

I had solar panels put in just over a year ago. Leaving aside the regular FIT payments, the benefits have also shown themselves in my fuel bills.

Just had my two bills drop on the mat and I've £34 to pay and for the 6 months covered by the last two bills a total (electric & gas) of £80.

It's appreciated that the colder, shorter days are coming on, but it's still a nice place to be. This summer I installed a log burner: a treat to myself and, I hasten to add, not for reasons of saving money, but that should keep my gas bills down.

Maybe one or two will be interested in this if they're considering solar panels. For comparison purposes there's only me in a three bedroom terrace so, for example, no teenagers leaving lights on or requiring laundry done!
