  • I don't shop online, no. I keep all receipts in with paperwork and my son went through it a couple of weeks ago and must have thrown some out. Last week I was looking for a post office receipt for a lost parcel and that was missing too.

I understand some people not wanting to help out, but thought it might be worth a try :( I would have happily offered an incentive but I think that goes against mse rules!

just went through all my receipts and haven't bought any of these either sorry.
shame that someone with the product on receipt would rather keep a hold of it in the faint hope of this being redrawn instead of wanting to help out a fellow comper and sending them it!

seriously? alot of people enter these purchase competitions and never buy the item, thus not having a receipt! why would i give up my receipt to someone who may have lost it but also may not have even bought it but won anway? when after the redraw i may actually be one of the winners but silly me gave my receipt away? seriously? i bought and paid for the item and kept my receipt safe! my winning email or call could also still be on its way to me, so definately not worth a risk.

LOL! That cheered me up at least!

Tamalyn - I thoroughly respect the fact that anyone might not want to share. Though coming on the thread to simply point out that you do have one and don't want to share is a little unpleasant and uncalled for.

I'm a big believer in karma and I do help out others where I could and so I thought it might be worth a shout out to see if anyone could help me out. I'd rather the thread didn't turn into a bunfight :(

I'm also a big believer in karma which is why I always thank the OP when I enter a comp. ;)

I agree here. The comment about not wanting to share is a bit sour. The OP was the lucky winner. Either they lost the receipt or didn't buy... either way, they were still the 'lucky' one. Holding out for a redraw is your decision and perfectly fine but why broadcast it here? The OP already feels bad about it.

And if won on a redraw, would you then post for cheers here?

I've found this community so giving, it's amazing. I missed this comp but I'd send you my receipt on your postage of course. +1 Karma.

Just my opinion, hope this doesn't come off rude. Not intended. :)

i didnt come on the thread to gloat at all. i was actually reading the other posts and saying its always good to keep the receipt safe, i even bought one of these for another comper when this competition was first advertised and posted her the receipt.

the nastiness is just uncalled for to be honest! i always share comping stuff

i really dont understand why i should give up my receipt?? when i could still get a call/email saying i have won? sorry

If its any consolation, I learnt the hard way too winning a lovely prize last year , having texted and not brought the product so had to forfeit the prize. I think you just have have to chalk it up to experience and read the t & c next time ( I do now) .

Tell yourself it shows you can win prizes by buying a qualifier so there will be a next time

    (hugs and commiserations)
  • Il look through my receipts for you as I shop there

Tamalyn- If you "always" share comping stuff, what's different about today.
