The offer may close on 30th September, but the original Facebook posting is dated November 2013, and the comments on it are just highlights (and one of those is dated June) so could be just a few of hundreds. So I suspect the first 1000 went a long time ago.

But I may be wrong!

Edited to add: But there is a recent (Sept 5th 2014) proglide giveaway link at the top of Gillette's facebook page - and the T&C from that do link to that old November 2013 post. Which is odd. But maybe the offer is live again and my comments above are entirely wrong!

Got an email saying i'm one of the lucky 1000. You have to send them your name and address, despite already sending it in the original email.

I have done that and still haven't heard anything. Maybe they have reached the 1000.
