Shopping Lists - any tips?

I have always kept a note-pad in my kitchen for writing down things that I am about to run out of, or what I want to buy for next week's lunches/dinners.
However, nowadays I use Notepad on my computer which is so much easier. Then when I go shopping I just print it off. I also use 'mysupermarket' to see where I can buy my items the cheapest.0 -
I also always write it in the order of the store, and similar items grouped together. It doesn't help when the supermarkets swap the produce around though!
I also have a useful "notepad" app on my phone so I can note down things when I think of them during the week.0 -
Which app do u use to note stuff down, I've been after something like this for a while.I also always write it in the order of the store, and similar items grouped together. It doesn't help when the supermarkets swap the produce around though!

I've recently started using a note taking app called Google Keep - I'm liking it so far! It's getting quite a lot of use

Thanks
I use ColourNote (Android), it looks like Post It notes, very basic.0 -
The first thing I always write on my shopping list is the date. Then I don't have to struggle to remember the date when I'm in the shop and looking at "use by" dates.0
