Went to my local makro today looking for a good deal on a george foreman grill and i spotted this model way up high on top of one of their storage shelves,seems they no longer had this model on display.I asked a member of staff how much they were and they said £79.99 so i said ill take one but at the till it came up at £59.99,well chuffed this thing is the dual model and its HUGE! so quick check out your local makro,probably best to just ask staff to check the model for you to see if they have any because 99.9% of people wouldn't have spotted these ones i found cause they were stored like 30 feet up! The same model in currys is £149.99

this is a little confusing - one poster says it's £59.99 at Makro and another says it £39.99, also at Makro (both excl. vat, obviously) Are they the same one? If so it seems it depends on which Makro you go to

Different models, the one for £39.99+vat is a George Foreman 10814 double Knock-out grill

whereas the one for £59.99+vat is a George Foreman 10387 DUAL KNOCKOUT Health Grill

Just received my 10814 Double KO split lid jobbie yesterday - its a big !!!!!!!! Although I had to explain to my hubby that those clear plastic bits on the top were bun warmers - he was a bit concerned he wouldn't be able to fit much bacon on and there was nowhere for the fat to go - :rolleyes:

I believe the one the original poster was talking about, the 10387 is bigger still, and you can get a stand for it to use outside.

10387: 1290 sq cm cooking space (looks posher too, but without bun warmer)
