Meat Porter RU - ta fire**fly

Not actually sure if they've sent 100s of emails out, or if it literally is a RU prize... I nearly discounted this yesterday but have decided I will take them up on their offer of a £44 meat box for £29 (said I was "a runner up").
Will obviously mean a spend, but we're likely to get at least 6 quality different meat items and it can be frozen. Will probably get 2 decent steaks and/or duck along with chicken and sausages/bacon, etc, so I think it's a justified indulgence. The OH will be happy
Thanks fire**fly
(was from https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5028178) (sorry clicky links not working for me)

PS My dear ol' dad will probably be impressed looking down as he was a butcher

Me too...wonder is everyone who entered was a runner up...wouldn't be the first company...0
-
everyone was a runner up and money off isn't a win in my book0

Totally agree not a win - and not really a RU prize (I was a bit sceptical and did think everyone may have got one), but seeing as we eat meat and enjoy decent stuff and it'll be cheaper than going to the local butcher for the equivalent, I'm prepared on this rare occasion to cough up (as it's something we'd buy anyway
).
Ta all.

For a first order a £44 spend costs £35.20 as everyone gets a 20% first order discount.0

Not a bad offer either (did notice that but presume it won't apply to my £29 offer).
The 'surprise me' box saves around 10% off normal prices anyway, so that's what has kind of grabbed my interest along with the £15 off.

I received this, not really sure i would like to pay £29 for mystery meat.
Yes it may be quality stuff, but who knows what they'll put in there lol.
