New Salad Cooling areas being put in Aldi stores.

Thought I would write about some interesting news which I noticed at my two nearest Aldi stores.

In one of the stores, Aldi have put in a cooled area for their Salad Food.:j

They are based on their new racking they have starting to put in all stores. But they blast a sedate cooling to the food in that area.

I would assume this is going to go national. This store in which it is already in was one the first five built in the country many moons ago!;)

The other store in the town is a new build,-in the 400's of newer stores- which has the new piping in place for it to be connected.

The food in this area is all Salad items like Cucumbers, Tomatoes, Lettuce, Packed Mixed Leaf Salad etc.

So this should help in the moans that I always read on hear about their produce always going off to early.
