Hello all!
I have @ 3/4 of a jar of organic virgin coconut oil that I bought a while back for a specific recipe. It then spent time languishing at the back of the cupboard. I "found" it again the other day languishing at the back of the cupboard with a best before date of 20/2/14. Oops!!
Any ideas of what I can do with it? Heard this oil can be ok for using as a cooking oil or body moisturiser but can it still be ok for this?? Any other ideas??
Ta in advance!

Coconut is one of the most stable oils, it'll be fine for body etc and personally I would be happy to eat it, but that's up to you.June Grocery Challenge £493.33/£500 July £/£500

I probably wouldn't use it for eating, but no problem for body/hair usage.Shrinking my mortgage!

if it looks ok, smells ok - then use it. it says 'best before' not 'gone off by'!0

my daughter uses it on her hair before washing (& sometimes leaves it on all day if she's just lounging about) & says it's the best thing she's used for frizz - you'll find it in lots of places now specificlly as a conditioner.0
