Christmas Wish List / Preparations

Options
Hey all, so it's getting closer to that time of year!

I know many of you comp for xmas presents and I guess I'm not the only one who has a long-view on comping for them as it takes so long to actually win/receive the win.

I was just wondering... how is it going? This time last year (or was it the year before?!) I had a fair sized box of bits and bobs that I used as presents and stocking fillers... so far this year I have zilch!

My small wishlist is:

Perfume - Friend
Ipad - Mother
Gardening Vouchers - Grandparents
Bespoke suit - BF
Secret santa gift for work

(sorry if this has already been done already!)

I've got bits and bobs stored away that i've won including make up/beauty bits which I hope to add to in the coming months to make a hamper for my best friend who is cosmetics crazy! I've obviously got the "dream wins" in my head such as a PS4 for my brother and for my boyfriend ( I wish I could win one, I definitely think two is pushing it but I can hope right!) and my parents would love an ipad or laptop. I'll probably just keep plodding along with competitions as normal and I'm hoping i'll pick up some nice smaller bits that can be given as part of a present or as stocking fillers and maybe if i'm really lucky, i'll win one of my dream items :)

Definitely looking forward to the Christmas period on MSE though because as a relatively new comper, its not something that i've experienced before!

Good luck with your wishlist :)

My Christmas wishlist is pretty much the same wishlist I've had since starting comping, and just as unlikely ever to get fulfilled!
I'd love iPad(s) for my 2 younger sons, laptop for the older one, Lego and maybe some DVDs. Failing any of them, vouchers for Christmas shopping would be fab, or especially supermarket vouchers for the food shop!
Living in cloud cuckoo land though as this year I seem to have been unable to win anything over the value of £20 :(
  • Toys for the kids and maybe neices/nephews (though I think their parents probably wouldn't be happy with me giving a gift I won for Christmas, even if it's worth hundreds of pounds when I normally spend a tenner).

A watch/track day/aftershave/clothes for my boyfriend. Though I think if I won anything for him I'd be too excited to keep it to myself and he would expect it straight away.

I don't normally comp for specific things for gifts but often think, 'I'd like that for me, but if I do win and it's not suitable I can give it to someone for Christmas.' For example bedding, we have a kingsize bed and I never know if they'll give me a choice or just send out a double.
    Make £10 per day-
    June: £100/£300
  • Id like to win my bf a ps4, and my mum either a smallish tv for her bedroom or a kindle but i don't think any of those is likely! lol and some dog toys for my dogs :D

would love to win some supermarket vouchers too for the xmas food shop :) or a hamper of food..

Wife - Vouchers (ASOS, Next, etc)
    Daughter - Frozen merchandise!
    Parents - Hotel/Spa vouchers
    Baby-on-the-way - Mothercare/Mamas & Papas vouchers would be useful!
Me - A tablet. Doesn't have to be an iPad - a generic android one would do nicely!
    Best competition wins:
    2011 - £3,695 Tag Heuer watch!!
Debt Free, thanks to MSE Forum advice and support.
  • Something cuddly for my little girl - maybe one of those weird yellow squidges that seem to be everywhere at the minute.
  • I'd like to win some anti-ageing skincare/pampering stuff for my mum, whisky for dad and a PS4 for the boyfriend.

And lots of 'Happy Christmas me' goodies would be ace too.
  • I've never done a christmas comp wish list as I never win anything present worthy really.

However I wouldn't mind winning a PS4 for the other half, but say I won one next week, there'd be no way I could keep it hidden till christmas!
  • i am in the 'would struggle to keep it for xmas' group of people...

i won a book/activity pack which i could have put towards someones presents, but nope it turned up, i opened it and straight away it was given to the children.. (they all sit at my feet waiting as i open post as sometimes ive ordered things in their names...)

i won myleen klass bomber jackets one is size 10.. now i am size 10-12 so theres every possibility it wont fit me, and its not really my style (i LOVE it but i expect it would be worn once and shoved in the cupboard) but my sister is size 8-10 and its completely her style so i think it maybe a present for her for xmas, but already since winning it i keep going to show her the picture of it!!

i am so bad at hiding things.

would love a ps3 or 4 for my partner & his son
garden toys (trampoline, slide etc) for all 4 kids to share
    a laptop for me
    makeup/perfumes/pampering stuff for my sisters/mum
expriences for my dad (fast driving, sky diving..)
