which wins just turn up?

who has won something which has just arrived in the post/ by courier with no email/letter before to tell you?

what website? what items etc?

just curious, my mum had a couple of bits just appear in the post with no previous warning, a mobile, a sony ereader, and other bits.. from magazines, do these tend to just send without prior warning?

My Pom Bear hamper turned up without notice, I still have no idea where I won it.

loads do -I've won something most month that just turns up (although not during my recent lean spell)

im quite excited about the post now then

ive recently had a patch where ive dreaded the postman turning up.. but tides seem to have turned, weve sorted a lot out and there maybe a couple of surprises! eep also this week im awaiting the arrival of my myleen klass bomber jackets from mothercare

a few years ago a nintendo wii turned up no note nothing. It was when they first came out I was completely stunned

I had a win from The Beauty Pages which turned up totally unannounced - it was a shedload of toiletries plus £200 shopping vouchers so that was a fantastic surprise to come home to!


I also won £250 vouchers from GQ magazine which just arrived in the post with no prior notification.


Other than that I've had the odd small win turn up unexpectedly, but for most things I've had a WEM or WTC.

I had a large cheque from Bauer Media turn up without notice

I had received a number of missed calls from an unknown number which I presumed was them, however aside from that I didn't get any notification. I ended up just screaming the house down!
