Last year I won some Go Ape vouchers, with an Asda competition. Yesterday we decided to do the junior Go Ape with the children. I think my children are monkeys with no fear. I, however, am definitely not a monkey! I have never gripped on to a rope so hard, fearing for my life... It did get easier the more we went around, and if I won it again I'd go again. But those first goes around were definitely my most scary win.

So what wins have turned out scary for you?

(We are off to Joseph at the theatre on Tues, a win, and I think that may be my scariest win for my husband lol)

The words, 'I don't want to do this anymore' did come out of my mouth half way around the first time. However, you can't go back and you can't get off. Also, tell my children you have to stick at something not give up... can't really have a go at them if I don't do it lol. It was fun by the end :)

grannybiker, I would draw a big fat line at bungee jumping:eek:

Some years ago I won a couple of tickets to a "Hip Hop DJ Night" (or something like that) at a local hotel, for my daughter and her friend. Neither was into hip hop but there was free food and drink and the possibility of dishy young men so they went along. It wasn't a great evening and they'd decided to leave when one guest pulled out a gun and shot another guest dead. Fortunately the girls were on the outskirts of the crowd and so didn't see anything, but they were both very distressed. Definitely the scariest prize I've ever won.
