Was issued a note from the doctor yesterday 5th sept for 2 weeks from date was 5th and to date on note 19th). Does this mean I go back to work on 19th or does it include this date? Basically go back work Friday 19th or on the following Monday as only work Monday to Friday?

Hi - I work in payroll and if we received a sicknote date 5th Sept for two weeks, then we would expect you back at work on Fri 19th.
The reason for this is:
Dated 5th Sept - this is counted as the first day.
Duration of two weeks = 14 days
Counting 14 days startin on the 5th means your note will expire on the 18th, so back at work on the 19th
Hope that helps0
