Bankruptcy again?

To be fair, the system is never going to change and your wife needs to face the fact that she will need to learn how to say no. I'm not convinced it's quite like offering an alcoholic a drink, in that most of us would not be tempted by credit post bankruptcy. Your wife clearly has issues that are expressed through overspending - and only she can help herself with that (and counselling, of course!)
Best of luck with it all!BCSC Member 70:j

Its not the judge who makes the order who would comment on any misconduct, the OR would carry out his investigatiuons and from what you have said they would very likely be subject to a BRO.' Blameworthy' in bankruptcy is a big grey area but dishonest as in fraud is a very different kettle of fish.
One of my neighbours has been bankrupted TWICE first time 39k second time 50k both times for being a compulsive shopper. They are generally said to take a dim view of you on a second occasion but all the magistrate said to my neighbour was: ' Oh its you again ' told her to get some counselling and stamped the order.
