Many thanks to firefly for their help again this week. For 9Across in the big puzzle, we are not 100 percent sure, but it seems to be the only one that fits. With 27Across, there are two possible answers - MODE and TONE but we think MODE is the one.
apologies for any mistakes, please PM me if you do spot any - my son tipped a glass of milk on my laptop and the keyboard isn't working properly.

Thanks so much for these, Jai...
Just wanted to check, in case it's a milk versus keyboard typo, is puzzle two "woodenseat" as one word?
Thanks x
ETA - also dropped JaiBaby a PM

Thanks for the PM Jessica, as explained, it doesn't actually say it's two words:
- the picture is of a benchSolve the puzzle to spell out a term related to the picture
So I suggest it's up to you what you enter
xx Thanks to all posters :A0 -
OMG what is everyone putting? woodenseat is not a word or term
Chances are they will accept either... Many of the magazines with text entry tell you that you should 'join up' multiple word answers: if they're accepting them for texts, they'd probably accept for online too.
I think this is a personal choice
