Buying chair covers

I want to use chair covers at both our ceremony and reception venues ( we can put on/ take ourselves at both venues - not me, a friend)
Has anyone bought them before! I've seen eBay sellers advertising them for as little as 1.99 each which is great but are they any good or not worth it?
I could hire but it looks like it'd cost about the same to be honest and being over 2 venues would probably be hassle for the company?
I'm tempted just to buy one and see but wondered if anyone has experience of them or can recommend a good company?

HI manda,
Just saw your post and this was something I really struggled with and ended up buying a few samples in the end we choose these covers which I felt were a little expensive but comparing to hiring twice which we'd have to do it worked out a lot cheaper. I also really liked the quality of them. They looked really good on the chairs as I was worried they'd look really see through and cheap as I'd seen some covers looking on google images!!

I'm currently going through the same thing. I guess it depends how many you need. If it costs roughly the same amount then at least if you buy them you can always sell them on ebay/gumtree etc and make some of your money back and not have to worry if any get dirty or ripped and the loaning company asking you to pay for a replacement.Total Mortgage OP £61,000Outstanding Mortgage £27,971Emergency Fund £62,100I AM NOW MORTGAGE NEUTRAL!!!! <<Sep-20>>0

Thanks for the recommendation, think i will probably buy rather than hire. We only need 30 max so it's not a huge expense.0
