Oh yea, I forgot to mention this so thank you McBirnie25, the photo company dosen't exist apparently. They cannot be found on the yellow pages or any internet search engines, the only way I managed to write to them to tell them about the cancelled direct debit was by writing to the address that you said competition forms in to....suss I think...?

And yes, they would be great if you could send me that letter, I'd really appreciate that :)

Stuff that then, no way would i be paying til it was proved this company existed. Could begoing to anyone.I would send off for a copy of the CCA agreement, this means BCW can't touch you then.If you don't get the agreement within 12 days then they have to apply to the court to pursue this debt. Will send that letter when i get time.

I think it s a consumer credit agreement, which you would have signed when you decided to take on the photo company's services. If they can't produce this then they can't really prove a debt...

They have just phoned me again, this time on a 0845 number, usually it's 0871....I wonder what that means?

It just means that they make slightly less if you ring them on an 0845 number, than if you ring them on an 0871 number. Go to http://saynoto0870.com and you should be able to find an ordinary geographical number for them.

By the way - the CCA that is being referred to is the original Consumer Credit Agreement, which they MUST provide on request.

You are more than welcome a87. I am away for the rest of the week, but keep posting. If you need examples of letters that you should send, someone will be able to point you in the right direction, and you will learn a lot from McBIRNIE.
