I have 6 radiators, If I turn all the TRV's on the radiators off apart from one radiator, would I be using less gas?

Correct. Thats what they are designed for. Typically, people have them turned down in bedrooms which also reduces gas consumption.Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0

Good to know, just had them fitted along with new boiler. Bathroom very cold and damp in winter (old flat roof extension) so I would leave this radiator cranked up when others are on low/off.0

If its damp in there you need a mechanical form of extraction, rather than just relying on opening windows.Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0

There is an extractor fan also.
Planning on buying a dehumidifier this winter too.0 -
Maybe time to invest in a new roof as well?0

Bathroom rads not normally fitted with TRV, as 1 rad should be open to prevent back pressure on the pump if all are set to off.0

The felt roof isn't that old. I meant the extension is old and probably poorly insulated.Bathroom rads not normally fitted with TRV, as 1 rad should be open to prevent back pressure on the pump if all are set to off.
The one in the hallway doesn't have a TRV.0 -
Less Gas = Less heat produced for your warmth.
Good insulation levels = less heat loss
Less heat loss= less gas required to heat
Good insulation is as important as a good heating system0 -

Should not need a dehumidifier if you have an extractor fan.
Put a timer on the fan so it runs on after you turn it off.0
