Hi
Looking to pay our Mortgage off as soon as possible but not sure what to do about the above. We currently owe around £52000. Our endowment in a unit linked one and is currently worth around £27000 with 3 years to go. Now i think we would be better off cashing it in and trying to reduce the mortgage which currently stands at £30000 interest only & £220000 repayment and then using the endowment money to add to our over payment. only thing is not sure if we can pay off the full £30000 or just a percentage. Any advice from anyone who has been in a similar situation would be great as we have made an appointment with the bank for 1st Oct but would like to be armed with as much info as possible before we go.
Thanks
Mike:)
