30th birthday surprise trip for husband

My husband turns 30 at the end of February and always books the week off for his birthday - I wanted to book a surprise trip for us to go on as a family but looking for ideas of a destination. Our first baby is currently overdue(!) so will be about 6 months when we go and it will be our first holiday with the baby as well as husband's 30th birthday so extra special. Looking for somewhere fairly cheap as I will be paying for us all on my own, and we would rather go for a city break for a few days than anywhere beachy. I was thinking of Amsterdam as it's where we got engaged but open to any other suggestions of places we might not have been before.

You haven't put a budget down - that will limit you.

You might also want to try posting on the overseas board instead of the birthdays/special occasions one - there's far more expertise over there.

Research ideas but I wouldn't book anything until baby has arrived and you see how life settles down.
