I've just had a message left on my mobile from a lady at Friends Life regarding a competition I entered through the Telegraph for tickets to the Tour of Britain Cycle race...only thing is, I didn't even enter it! It's not something I'd enter, as I'm not interested in cycling at all. I've entered a lot of Telegraph competitions, but not that one! I'm wondering if there's been a mix up?!
Anyway, she's asked me to phone her back but I'm not sure if I should and just let the prize be passed on to the next person? Has anyone ever had this happen? Trust me to win a competition that I didn't even enter :rotfl:

She asked for me by name. I 100% didn't enter, not even for the Hotel stay..I don't really enter competitions like that. I phoned her and explained the situation, she found it quite amusing! She agreed that there must have been a mistake, and asked if I'd like to go anyway. They're giving us £100 towards travel, plus all the extras so I'd be silly not to! Thanks very much to the OP...definitely one of my weirdest ever wins!
