Hi
I am looking to get married next year in London and am looking for a wedding reception. We don't have a big budget but have managed to find lots of venues (pubs, restaurants and halls) that don't break the bank. It's just none of these places feel very us.
The closest I found was a little crepe and waffle house that was very relaxed and friendly, had outdoor fire pits and a real traveller feel....unfortunately it had used up all its allocated bookings for next yr.
It made me think though that I should try find a more relaxed venue. I was wondering if anyone knows of any similar independent restaurants or cafes in London?
Thanks for your help!

You could try the Three Stags in Kennington Road near the Imperial War Museum. It is a little different and the food is divine. They have a function room upstairs for all kinds of events.

Look at Clifton nurseries in Little Venice. A hidden garden in the centre of London, going to a wedding there soon.0
