Does anyone know of an automatic (and cheap) method of payment from a UK bank account to a French bank account. We currently have to remember to phone and instruct our bank every two months to send money abroad and have to pay £17.50 each time they perform the transfer. Very grateful for any advice.:eek:

Hi, I don't know who you bank with but Natwest offer this service under the name RELAY. You can set up a regular payment (like a standing order) for about £10/12 a time.Thanks to all who post comps :A :T0

Don't know of a bank but a company called HIFX help me for mine to Spain, they tell you your exchange rate and set it for 12 months, not always the best of rates but you do know where you are for 12 or even 24 months. There are others out there - if you fly to France have a look in the inflight book - may have some in.0
