Not sure if this is a good rate, but noticed that Jury's Hotel is at a special rate of 69 pounds, room only.

Just looked on Travelodge for you and there are some good deals on for the dates you want to stay. Nearest to centre is £39 (i think) and there are some £15 rooms a bit further from the centre. Hope this helps.

The Sportcity Travelodge is 2.2 miles from the centre and it is definitely £39. If you look on the Supersaver rooms and then add your date and destination it should fetch it up.

Just had an email from laterooms and they have just released some fairly cheap rooms. The Brittania is in the centre of Manchester and has your date available. They have a double without breakfast for £49 or a double with breakfast and free bottle of wine for £55 (but room has no windows).

    Hope this helps

The brittania is renowned to be a knocking shop  several people use to use it from work but got sick of the phone calls from reception asking if they would like some female company for the night. A lot of rooms seemed to be hired out to female escourts as well

Found a travelodge near picadilly gardens for £15 :D
