    Hi everyone

I haven't been around for a wee while but found a tiny glitch in the 3 for £2.50 bakery offer. Thought I'd be showing a good comparison on the Turkey Drummers but see Savvy's already showing it.

It's a raspberry lattice plait that's not showing on APG. Not many good comparisons for it but here's the APG.

    Why £8.41

14 items (11 different) on your bill qualify for comparison ASDALogoWhite.gifMorrisons

    +£7.32 CheaperSignBlue.gif
    1 x ASDA Smartprice Chopped Tomatoes (400g) £0.31 £0.31
    1 x Nestle Smarties Cookies (5) £1.20 £0.99
    1 x Nestle Rolo Cookies (5) £1.20 £0.99
    1 x Frijj Chocolate Milkshake (471ml) £1.00 £0.50
    1 x Frijj Chocolate Fudge Brownie Milkshake (471ml) £1.00 £0.50
    1 x Frijj Strawberry Milkshake (471ml) £1.00 £0.50
    1 x Frijj Banana Milkshake (471ml) £1.00 £0.50
    1 x Burton's Wagon Wheels Original (6 per pack - 216g) £1.00 £0.84
    1 x Burton's Jammie Wagon Wheels (6 per pack - 229g) £1.00 £0.84
    4 x Bernard Matthews Golden Turkey Drummers (10 per pa... £8.00 £4.00
    1 x Pukka-Pies All Steak Pie (233g) £1.50 £0.92
    1 x ASDA Smartprice Sponge Scourers (8) £0.40 N/A
    1 x ASDA Essentials Care Foam Bath - Fresh Blue (1L) £0.70 N/A
Comparison total (compared products only) £18.21 £10.89

I asked my OH to get two of either the Rolo or Smarties but he picked one of each. If he'd have got two of them, they'd have compared at £1.50 for both instead of the 99p above.

The only other things that were on offer elsewhere seem to be white choc cookies, milk choc cookies, oatmeal raisin cookies on a Sains comparison and Belgian buns, plain croissants dn the Rolo/Smarties ones vs Morries. Choc Iced Ring 4pk donuts show as being 80p vs Morries but it's not reflected on MSM.

In fact I'm already showing everything comparable. Apart from the Frijj milkshakes, which I have mentioned but not considering straight comparisons to 50p to be very good anymore (although that's a little pedantic doing that).

I still think the Rolo and Smarties should have compared vs £1.50 mix and match? May not have picked up Morries mbuy on them:(. If so, they're not on my list as a suggestion to mix and match, although the main reason is their narrowly missing out based on price rather than them not working. I wouldn't have mixed and matched - as I would have felt that was very risky and, indeed, the result shows that that was right. They miss out slightly on price though (75p, and having to buy two, as opposed to 50ps seen elsewhere or possible triggers existing back in the past (although I don't think they worked out too well anyway)).

4 pack Choc Ring Donuts are 80p in M. Msm doesn't show these as they are not sold through m.com, like quite a few fresh fruit and bakery items. Even loose bananas don't appear on msm.

I think that may be why 'we're'(:rotfl:) still collecting instore - not just fresh bakery (though that area does seem quite depleted in its reflection online) but many other items too. I got a bit more back on my M comp. shop yesterday that I was expecting, as several going into my basket on msm (to try to estimate my original spend) but not showing M price and being replaced by more expensive items (for M) that are on msm. Wasn't easy to see how much the APG would be and hadn't worked it fully out beforehand. So, a bit more I expected and all worked well.

A few things I've posted in the past to correct that are not technically accurate, though I've not round to doing so (and probably won't with every one of them as the inaccuracies I've made are not significant). Nonetheless, I had that womble with the Harpic Bleach Limeforce Rim Block returned N/A vs M. (Wouldn't have bought it myself.) I said something like aren't these £1.39 in M? In fact, they are even less than that - £1.25 I think (do I remember now?:rotfl::rotfl:), so returned even less than what I thought it should have done. I found this for T - sadly not available in A:

Duck 5 in 1 Rim Block Citrus
    £1.00

Also other things, such as stationery, large eraser at 30p, in T. :o:oI'm of course going from the "Savvy buys" on msm, which, being online, are not savvy in the sense that they are never as good as instore RTCs that people here manage to find.

Hi little t  How's Poppy doing these days? We had a scare with our dog a month or two ago. He ruptured his cruciate ligament so we effectively had to keep him as still as possible for 2 weeks! Not easy with an acitve border collie but he's fine now and no operation needed.

But I'M now determined to get through the first set of assessments and see how I fair.

Glad your getting your stitches oot. be a relief xx

Sorry Babbababe, I have a memory like a sieve, what course are you doing?

Some courses do over load everyone, as a means of filtering out people. I remember when DS1 did AS psychology, his first homework was what I did in the third year of Uni. I rang the teacher up, it quickly became evident that she hated males, so I did his homework… he aced it!
