I need somewhere to moan. Do you mind?
I applied to be a Cambridge Weight Plan consultant back in Jan but failed the Test. Was told to reapply in June but due to my consultant being on hols form did not go in until late July.Once form goes through you get a phone interview and then if they think you are suitable they invite you to go on a course and then take test again. Well I have been emailing and phoning since mid August and got an email on 20.8 saying they were looking at my form and would be in touch shortly. Well it took till last week ( despite many calls and email from me and my consultant.) She phoned me Thursday did the call and said she would have to refer it to her boss and I would hear from her by last Friday as she was going off on hols or her boss by end of this week.
Well as usual no response so I tried to call someone from her team ( on the phone or in a meeting as usual!! ) and was eventually put through to her boss email. I left a nice message asking him to call.
When I failed in Jan they would not tell me on which question I had failed and I got 70% and pass mark was 85%. It was my fault as RL got in my way and I did not read all the papers properly I think.
Now I did the diet last year and lost 3.5 stone that I have kept off, I am in a new job, go to the gym and cycle. So it has made a massive difference to my life. Consultants are self employed and just buy the product and sell it on aswell as counselling their customers.
I really want to do this as I tell everyone about how fab the diet is ( not for everyone I know) and sold it 30 years ago when it 1st came out.
I am at a loss to understand what is preventing them contacting me and why I may not be suitable. My own consultant says I am one of her success stories and from what i read on FB some of the consultants are not very good.
Sorry moan over but it is making me really depressed as I only have 5 years to retirement and paying off the money and running a diet business helping others aswell as paying off my bills is what i WANT0 -
Guess who has a shiny new job starting Monday

Morning all!
Thanks for this BB, I've been wanting a car USB charger for ages. It was a bit more complicated than expected though, I did the Bespoke voucher bit in a rush this morning, then came online at lunch to find I hadn't actually bought the thing and had to go and purchase it! The website was very slow, no doubt sinking under the weight of 10ways and HUKD combined.
Off for a romantic weekend for our one year anniversary tonight, hence why it hasn't stopped raining all day so far :rotfl:Bananababe wrote: »No worries. I'd hope we got a slice of pie before it went viral.
Congratulations on your anniversary :T enjoy your night out.
Its our 16th wedding anniversary today too.:) can't believe he's put up with me this long (and all the years before the wedding :rotfl:)
Happy Anniversary to both of you. :A
Will raise a glass of fizz to you and your OHs later. :beer:0 -
Feeling nervous today and it's not even me having the interview.
I hope DD3 does well enough. I am proud she has got as far as getting an interview though. She has been bit of a recluse since that bad break of her arm. Things are looking up for her, settling into college well too.0
