Well feelings are running high, and it's something people feel strongly about. Id have loved a vote too but I do think it's fair that only people who live there had that privelige.
It was the most sensible and fair way to do it and it has worked in their favour and will give a true reflection of what the people who are most affected by it want.
No one would have taken it seriously if uncle jimmy who emigrated to Austrailia 40 years ago had a vote because he was born in Scotland. I've seen a lot of complaints from 'ex-pat' scots that they didn't get a vote......it's tough, they all chose to live elswhere, including me!0 -
