Im run ragged. The days I'm not at college I work and between all that and running family home its getting to me. I'm constantly shattered. I'm not even sure why I'm there !
I find the classes where there is a right answer like accounting or It straightforward. The others that just drone on for two hours not so much. But I promised hubby I would try.
I'll struggle on see what happens x thanks TM xx0 -
Morning all. Got an email last night from the other job explaining it a bit more and giving me dates (basically starting nowish if I agree) and I'm in a bit of a spin.
Need to draw up a pros and cons list because the jobs are roughly the same, wages will be different by a considerable amount a week, slightly different length of contract. One show is trashier than the other. And it's probably going to be working from home vs being in an office. I hate being forced into making decisions. Feel a bit sick
All the best to bubbs- wishing you a very speedy recovery x
Welcome to my world
I've decided I'm going to go for it, new challenges and opportunities and all that. I'll just have to catch up with you lovely lot on my lunch breaks and in the evenings (which I'll have more of as I'll be home by 4.45 rather than 6pm!).
Would one job look better on your CV than the other? Is one in a preferable direction, something you'd prefer to do again in the future? Or is it very much a short-term 'which gives me more dosh at the end of it' type thing? Do you prefer working in an office or on your own at home?
Glad to hear your op went well bubbs, hopefully you can cadge a lift off someone if a major glitch goes off
BB, I know this probably goes against your MSE-ness, but maybe getting a cleaner or someone in to help with home stuff might help? £20 a week max would be worth it if it gets you your sanity back and enables you to carry on. Also, I used to find the droning lectures were good for a cat-nap at the back, and you could always read the notes later and make more sense of it from there0 -
Oh lol me late again with my good wishes.
Glad you were in and out quick. :T Fingers crossed for a speedy recovery.Although that may be a bit difficult for you at the mo.
We will all keep ours crossed for you.

Morning all. Found a dinner set for 4p in tesco this morning. Left it at home but will post details as soon as I get back. I know it's white square shaped plates and in the old box design.
In Manchester for work at the moment which is the best ( ie largest store) is it the Stretford one on Chester road? Thanks
Not sure where abouts in Manchester you are rebecca, looking at the stores with scanners - Cheetham Hill has one, as does Burnage, Bury and Droylesden. Failsworth does notit's my local store too. hth
Edit: Not sure where I got Bolton from - can't see it now. Should've gone to specsavers :rotfl:0 -

My friend is home from hospital :T
Last night it was another friend's birthday & she wanted to go to Bingo.
Anyway I made excuses not to walk down with her & said I'll meet her there..
I rushed down & decorated the table with balloons, table confetti, banners & an awaiting drink..
It was lovely to see her surprised face & when the Bingo caller reached No. 27 she announced her birthday & everyone sang
:rotfl::rotfl:
I'm sure she was secretively pleased
