Give up on dreamworld yonks ago.

No wonder you are always scooting ahead on normal CC. LOL.

I'm happy to say I have finished every single little level of FHS. How sad am I?

Does anyone know how painful a sports massage is? My gym has a physiotherapy section and they are offering a 30 minute sports massage for £10 (instead of £40 that they normally charge) solely for gym members. I am slightly interested, but having Googled it, I am not sure. It sounds painful. Anyone had one before? Thanks in advance to anyone who might be able to help.

I will go back to work one day but I took time out to be a stay at home mum and then with elderly parents went straight into caring without a break. Giving myself a well deserved break now. ;)

Must admit I am bit scared about going back to work like Rhosynbach said she is. It is frightening going into the unknown my skills are now obsolete. I worked in IT pre windows. :rotfl:

If you can avoid it, I would recommend this course of action!

I would love not to have to work, but my income is the only income in the house. So I remain jealous/envious, enjoy every moment xxx

    afternoon all,

dd1 and family have decided to stay for tea , which due to some reminiscing is home made pizza, with sweetcorn fritters and oven over cooked jacket potatoes, and apple crumble again:D

it so funny how kids remember things differently to adults, ds3 is quite a bit younger than the rest and they were saying he was not around when we were poor. I said he is the lucky one then, they said no it taught them all a lot, and they had a lot of fun and learnt to be creative,:) the one thing they remember is running out of bread and nothing much in house so i had a tin of sweetcorn and an egg and a slice of ham mixed them together with flour and made giant sweetcorn fritters and we sat in the garden and ate them :o:o, I did not remember but they all did and every week making a tiny piece of leftover meat go over several home made pizzas with thick bases but nearly no topping:eek: and cooking potatoes in the fire as we were low on electric :p so tonight dinner is for ds3 to see what he missed..:rotfl:

Mum used to make a quiche in the grill pan for six of us - except there wasn't quiche in those days and she called it a cheese pie. It was scrummy. Some years later we said she hadn't made it for ages and would she again please. She looked totally astonished and said : 'I can afford meat now'!!!
