I've done some Morries comp. shopping, although it looks likely the results won't be known until tomorrow:(. It looks like it's 'back to the old days' at the moment and of course, if we'd never been given 3 hour checks, we wouldn't have been complaining now! Waiting till tomorrow though seems quite a wait - it feels much longer than 3 hours:rotfl::rotfl:.

:rotfl:My A loose oranges were much bigger than the loose oranges I saw in M. I bought five, so I'll able to see if the Morries mbuy will be picked up and five is a nice number of them to buy anyway. Lol, :rotfl::rotfl: as if I'd be able to cut a third of an orange off each one of three oranges and make a new medium-sized orange as equivalent to getting six.

I had no wombles yet buying the required number in the Morries mix and match fruit/veg. I've tried a risky attempt myself - sadly not involving three different items but just trying a couple hoping the mix might be more likely to be picked up between those and the items chosen in a 'calculated risk' therefore! Should be lower even on individual prices - but watch them compare and go vs last week's higher prices!:(:rotfl::rotfl:

I'm ignoring my own advice again, but then I can! After all I 'won' with the Maris Pipers, fortuitously, earlier when they worked and failed to buy them when they would have been a disaster:T - so, hopefully, if anyone gets the timing right and gets the ones to buy to work it will be me. I'm prepared for a loss though and to 'take the hit'.

Exactly - there seems to be an awful lot of chest infections doing the rounds. 2 blokes in OHs office - one in his 40s and one just 50 both on anti biotics with chest infections - neither of them in any of the obvious categories for getting chest infections, one of them just thought they had a cold.

Best of it never had a cold, sore throat or anything:cool: still got a bit of cough but lots better than it was:D:D

Savvy sal. Please have another :grouphug:

I know it might seem silly to say to someone you've never met on the internet but we are thinking of you. I honestly can't imagine.

The time will come one day when I face what you are facing and what some of you have already dealt with. I smile when people ask how I can still live at home with my parents. Very easily. Life is so terribly short.

I hope some kind of recovery is possible for your Mum :)
