I wouldn't ring, they will pos look in your account and may or may not depending on your order history suspend your account if you in their words 'havnt shopped like an average customer'. In my experience they base this on the fact that 3 of my shops had created high (£20 ish) apg which Joe Bloggs just doesn't do. Your next problem may be once they look into it is apparently they cannot see where the apg vouchers have come from ( yes I was really told this by A ) leaving you wide open to a suspicion of fraudulent activity and a permanent suspension. Of course they may just refund without checking your account ;). Hth

Thank you for sharing your experience. What gives you the impression my pattern of shopping may not be normal :A.

Fair point, I do have a fair balance of evouchers from target shopping (including from this shop) so may just have to get my "refund" from future offers.

"Only one coupon can be used against each item purchased." So by their rules if you happened to have more than one it is in the rules to use it (a shame they don't have separate vouchers/print off as a real waste of multiple magazines if the Elite get going on the offer :o).

Be careful as the BBE is about two and a half weeks after purchase so you don't want to overstock then have to bin any :A.

Thanks Anon , we would only use a couple so I'll just add them to the tiny Asda list I have :)
  • Did you notice how long the multis were off RN?
    Thanks

    Hiya :)

Lots of multis dropped yesterday evening (including most of the 3410 haircare) and there seems to have been some big A.com update overnight, loads of price changes. Most of these seem to have been picked up in the main msm update this am, but the lynx one was done a bit later, so may be showing on msm but not picked up on APG comps Just trying to see if there are any they have missed :D. (But think msm peeps are trying to do the very same :rotfl:)

Lol. No offence Anon I was just kinda saying unless it's absolutely necessary I wouldn't give A any reason to look at my account. Wasn't suggesting anything honest
What frustrated me the most is I couldn't clear my name as they were adament they couldn't see where the vouchers had come from. It didn't help that I used bang on £25 on my order with no cash which is why they looked at it in first place. I believe a lot of their doubt came from the £25 evouchers that people were adding to their own accounts last winter. Hth
Cherish those you have in your life because you never know when they won't be there anymore.

    Home from holidays.

The house looked superficially clean until I opened the bread bin (renamed the mould bin), the fridge (liquified fruit and meat well past its date "don't worry I didn't eat it!"), washing basket full of clothes ("well I did tidy my room!")

On the good side, the dishes were all tidy and the surfaces clean, the post stacked neatly, the bins had been emptied and the plants watered.

Good morning. What is the best approach in my situation please. The other week I did a C and C and the target item did not go through at the expected price (full instead of RTC). When I collected my shop the price of each item was not even shown on the receipt, but was included in the total at the end. The guy on C and C said he would process a refund - over a week later and it hasn't arrived. Do I phone the helpline and query (if they agreed then the refund would be cash not evouchers), return the items instore (but complicated by the item price not appearing and will have to be a different store) or suck it up and take a "loss"?

    Many thanks

    Anon

Ps I know the best approach would have been to reject the order to save any hassle, but that option is no longer available, I trusted he would refund as he said he would :o

    Hi

I no longer return goods for refund with the HD or c&c team. I always wait a day or so and return in store at cs. The refunds via c&c often dont go thru, and i dont want to be phoning to chase.

Depending on the value of the return, I would aim to offset against a new purchase where the net cost of the exchange is slightly over, and then this can go thru as a cash purchase. Eg return say laundry capsules £5 for different type value £6 and pay the £1 difference in cash. Just say eg I noticed the new pack was similar price but had lots more in so could I exchange please.

Your instance is slightly backward because no individual prices on the receipt, but still worth a punt at cs. But I think the TS & cs specifically mention in store returns (certainly used to).

I'd do absolutely the opposite and wouldn't have any hesitation in calling them. A are notoriously bad at processing refunds whether they be a regular or glitch shop and a one off call every once in a while doesn't hurt. Now if you were doing it every other day or every week that may be different.
Think it all comes down to personal caution/paranoia level and as we now that can be overly high around here with conspiracy theories and the like ;)
