I'm on an iPad.....is there any way to do it using iPad? Can't get to laptop til later.
I'm not sure about that
Was yours a C&C or an HD? Could it have been picked at a store other than the one you are checking prices in?Apparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -
diamond_dave wrote: »Just to let everyone know about this offer does not apply to ALL wines despite the signs. This am I bought 9 bottles of the cheapo australian red @ £3.50 a bottle and no discount not even the 5%. Customer services called the manager and he pointed out some tiny exclusions on the bottom of the sign to the effect that meal deals and wines under £3.65 a bottle -because of minimum alcohol pricing -were not included. On checking rules I find that the min.price of a bottle is £2.46 and the fact that should I buy a bottle priced at £3.99 the 25% discount would bring the price down to £3.00.Anyway, head office is sending me a gift voucher for £8 so not too bad.
I saw someone at customer services with a lot of different wines today and they were going through their receipt. I wondered if there was a problem.
Not looking good for the future of wine glitches.
I also notice on the banner on Ts groceries that it said excludes fortified wines this time round so there goes my cheap sherry and DM's cheap port.0 -

Each to their own
It's not a huge saving over the FF variety you are talking about but I'd say it's worth doing if you are looking for a cheap/useful filler on an AvS pasta shop. Also it helps people get to the £5 withdrawal threshold on STApparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0
