Same here nerfy with DD3's college she would have to leave unearthly hour for her and think it was around £400 for the bus pass here too. I usually us the trip to home to stop off at the big As or a smaller Ts that often have glitchy stuff. So made it :money: for me.
Still got loads of the 85p juice 4 packs which I would not have got if had not taken DD to college I am not usually up that early.:rotfl:
That's my plan for the drive home:cool:0 -

Actually ended up using wallpaper to cover our kids' books, used to go out and pick a few samples at a time, could normally get enough to cover a book as a sample
I took DS to B&Q last week to pick out samples to cover his books with. He wanted to know why I was picking out so many different ones, when is told him he went off looking for a suitable one for each subject.
He did make the mistake of shouting
'mum, do you think this would be suitable for English or is this one better!'
right infront of an SA :rotfl: the SA just smiled and said he used to do the same thing and pointed out a fab one for geography with a map of the UK. DS was very pleased because it was just what he was looking for.SPC #329 £471/£500 banked

Morning all.
Lovely photo of Riley Em.
Can I please ask whereabouts in A's the 50ml volvic touch of fruit is please. Is it only at the kiosk ?
Also the butchers Tmf says enclose an addressed enelope but are people putting a stamp on it (aau ? )
Tia xx
Edit also what bit of the packaging are people putting in, just a small pink Tmf bubble shape ?
If they said "SAE" you could debate whether they wanted a "stamped address envelope" or a "self addressed envelope"...but they specifically said "SELF addressed envelope"
No mention of a stamp whatsoever so I didn't bother.Apparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -
Do we know about this glitch with the 3 for £15 health and beauty code on Ts? Thanks to OP on grabbit.

Good morning Elite :hello:
Thanks for the new thread SD
FC enjoy your break with DD and come home refreshed. I'm hoping your time away will give you and dh time to reflect and work things out x
Tweets, hope today goes well at work for you. I know you're cleaning today but it's still work. I wonder who notices first your weight loss?
All the children going back or starting school today, good luck. I used to dread my boys going back as I loved the summer holidays when they were kiddies.
Snap, hope you find a holiday in Scotland soon, it is such a beautiful place, fantastic scenery in the right places
I've given up looking for a holiday for now as the cramps have returned to my legs :mad: another day of me being in bed no doubt, watching films/reading, not able to make a dash if a glitch of good proportions appearsThere's no place like home
Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.
Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.0 -
Well that's me caught up.
Waiting on people from FB and freegle calling to pick stuff up so might just have to get a bit of work done while I wait.
Also need to move my tumble drier from below my upstairs smoke alarm, it's set it off twice this morning before I remembered the fish tank used to do the same before I changed them around. I think I might just have to move it to where the console table is under the landing window.
You wouldn't think I've been here for 2 years, I still have lots of boxes to sort through, and furniture to change about to get it liveablenot been able to do much lifting for the past 6 months but feel up to it now so putting plans into action. Just glad school's back so DS doesn't get under my feet but do have to leave his room until last to give him time to decide what he wants to keep.
FC hope things look better for you two this morning, enjoy your holibobs I think the break is just what you need xSPC #329 £471/£500 banked

We had the reverse, DS1 got into the grammar school close by, but in the next county. It was too good a place to turn down. That meant that DS2 wouldn't get an automatic sibling place at the decent school we had lined up in our minds for both of them. But once we had seen the education that DS1 was getting, we were less enthusiastic about sending DS2 to the fairly decent local school. Being on the edge of London and the border of 3 different county/ boroughs did give us some choice.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. In my local they never had any but I was directed to there by a lad stocking shelves so I guess so.
No I didn t put a stamp on them as pointed out by AauIf they said "SAE" you could debate whether they wanted a "stamped address envelope" or a "self addressed envelope"...but they specifically said "SELF addressed envelope"

Thanks for the replies. Have you had refund yet ? Did you just send a little pink promo off the corner. Also it says per person so did anyone do more than 1 per household. Tia xxCherish those you have in your life because you never know when they won't be there anymore.
