    Postal :)

Unless the text is a cheap-ish one - e.g. SNR + <anything less than £1> (but that's only the Weekly News ones, really. I'm happy to pay a little extra to enter, because I'm lazy, and a postcard takes more effort than a text :rotfl:

i won't do anything that costs - would rather buy a scratchcard as you never know if your letter gets there.

One postcard; texts only if charged at SNR or less than 50p in which case just the one.

    Bit worried by this >>

    lol, ....

Post – send your entry on a postcard or on or within an envelope to (whichever address)
Entries received on anything other than a postcard or envelope will not be accepted.
    .....

Does that mean my upcycled greetings cards are disqualified ?
btw, Poundland has 50 postcards for £1

    hiya, don't know,
all I did was read/copy/post the rules for peeps that were
    asking :)
also had a few pm's asking about the postcard entries & how many
were allowed so I thought to post it on the thread for
    everyone decide for themselves :)
please be a responsible pet owner & spay/neuter your pets, too many strays & not enough homes for them sadly. k2u58ioz4c8e.png

  • Only postal. I probably average about 7 postals a week and have won twice this year £50 and £100.

I am having a very dry year for competition wins and if it wasn't for the postals would have won nothing since April.
  • I make my own postcards, just by chopping an A4 piece of card into four. It doesn't actually have to say 'postcard' on it :)
  • I've been entering postals, when I remember. I try to do it about once a week which means I do miss out on quite a few with short tunarounds (Dickinsons Real Deal is a particular pain when that's around due to really short turnaround).

So far this year I've not won a single postal so it does make me consider giving them up but others do say they do well from them.

I've had a great year from other methods - just frustrating postals have yielded zilch.

The line above about 'anything other than a postcard' is something I asked about before. Technically they could be binning most of my homemade postcards and i'd never know...

I enter mainly postals and a few cheap text comps. I get free stamps every month from the Royal Mail Survey thing, but I don't mind buying stamps anyway. I'm not here for the moneysaving, I'm here for the competitions. ;)
I've had quite a bit of success over the years with postal entries (not so much this year, to be fair) and I enjoy doing them, so I'll keep going as long as I have the time.
Love all, trust a few. Do wrong to none.

An eye for an eye only leads to more blindness.

None of them. If any, I would reluctantly use e-mail. Its one thing to have a duff email account for spam, but my phone number or house address - NOT EVEN NEARLY! ;)
