Chances of getting a NTK

I parked in a free for 2 hours space today for what I thought was going to be a short interview. The inevitable happened and it wasn't short. I got back about 15 minutes late. No windscreen ticket in sight.
There were no cameras around so I might have got lucky if a parking attendant observed my car late (or didn't observe it at all).
Is it a common occurrence where people receive notices to keeper where no windscreen ticket has been issued or do you think I got lucky?
It wasn't a private land car park, just one of those bits by the side of a public road where a sign is up like this one:

If I do get a NTK I will of course read all of the relevant stickies!

Its really not difficult at all to park and NOT get a ticket. I learnt that from another poster on here, called mattye.
The rules are on the signs. My advice to you would be to simply abide by the rules on the signs and not get a ticket in the first place.Je Suis Cecil.0 -
