Please DFW peeps be aware that what you are trying to achieve is very stressful. Please take care of yourselves mentaly, in a DFW way, in amongst scheduling your money, budget and clicking times please schedule some YOU time.
For those that have shorter term issues, remember, that very often the adrelain of "getting it sorted" takes over and that it is not until the whole event is over and it is sorted you want to fall apart.
Let us all let our other halves how we feel, accept their criticisms.
As many of you know I for one take the threads I contribute to very personally and my continuing work with helping with bailiffs has been all consuming. I for one have realised that I need to take a step back for my own health/life and that I also suspect that I have become very boring!!!!
My challenge to myself and you is what DFW think can you do once a week to be kind to yourselves.

Big hugs SF - I don't think you've become boring
but I do agree we all need to look after ourselves carefully as well. I haven't been able to post on as many threads as I was doing a little while ago and felt guilty for it, but then realised it was more important that I look after myself and then post when I've got something imp to say, rather than burning myself out!:o And need to get rid of the guilt!
So thanks for the post. Will make the effort to think of at least one DFW thing I can do to be kind to myself - I can think of one, which is a lovely bubble bath!!
Will be interested to see others too.

Hi SF!
I hope things are going well for you!
Dont worry I need lots of little treats so I make sure I get them! My favourites are a long hot bubble bath with a good book, a pic nic in the back garden with a good book, favourite dvd and a hot water bottle and some comfort food, baking something yummy with a fav cd playing, just taking time out to play with my hamster (if he is awake and feeling sociable) another thing I love to do (I know its silly) is to have afternoon tea on a quiet weekend with a tea pot instead of the normal mug, dont know why but I find it quite special!Debt Free - done

Spot on SF. I don't think we give ourselves credit for the amount of stress that we put ourselves under, and of course much of it is done whilst trying to keep it quiet from those around us. Also, we are often in this for the long haul, and if we don't look after ourselves, the next few years could be very difficult indeed!
My tip is to put a fave CD on loud and have a bit of a boogie - who cares if the neighbours happen to have a peek at you through the window!!

Hi
now that we have the lighter evenings we have been trying to go out for a walk after dinner, not every night what with the rain but its so nice to get out and be outside in the fresh air. We are quite lucky as we live in the country near a cannel but just getting out and not having any pressure is good for us all.0 -
