Good idea. Maybe they can sell the OP an envelope and a stamp.

Jeez, how much more publicity will it take, for people to ignore these scamming brokers? :wall:

Perhaps there should be banners and flashing lights on search engines....

You can tell a lot about a woman by her hands..........for instance, if they are placed around your throat, she's probably slightly upset. ;)

I just filled in an application in totally bogus name and address, Colin Hunt, 22 naffall street that kind of thing, said I wanted to borrow £4000 over 4 years.

    Clicked apply now...

GREAT NEWS COLIN HUNT (it said) WE ARE READY TO PAY OUT YOUR LOAN...

To access your loan, please complete the form below and you could have your money the same day!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Form below? Well that wanted my credit or debit card details.

So to the original poster, who never gave them any address or credit card details nor gave any consent, how did they charge you £49?

Thanks. I have seen the part about applying in writing, however, what i want to speak to them about, is the fact that i have not given them my details, or authorisation to take money from my card.
Of course you have given them your details. They may be devious, but they are not mind readers.
I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.

What are you hoping is going to happen during this phone call?

They are not going to be interested in anything you have to say, nor will any action follow.

the only possible outcome is you giving them even more money by way of phone charges
