need help quick-lamb related!!

Options
hi, havew a bone-in 1kg leg of lamb, but now need to go out so can't roast it before parents come to tea.
Can I cook it in slow cooker, or will it end up sitting in a pool of fat?
would it need to stew or could I cook it "dry" in the slow cooker?
high. medium or low?

thanks in advance :(

  • I have made lamb in slow cooker and it was the best lamb I have ever eaten. It was moist and fell off the bone! The gravy I made from the leftover juices was phenomenal and I loved it that much I saved leftover gravy in the freezer!

    Enjoy :)

  • and 8 hours on low heat... sorry! Sealed the meat first on all sides in a pan before transferring though. Just a quick blast on either side in order to seal the flavours in.
