Had a small "yippee" moment this week. Was able to pay my bonus towards the credit cards,which has freed up enough available credit to shuffle around the money and get about a third of it onto interest free.

After 3 years of trying, we are at the tipping point where we will be really attacking debt, rather than treading water paying interest.

Another piece of good news today! (I must be saving the bad luck for later).

I spent a few hours today working out details of overpayments which would see us debt free apart from mortgage by March 2016.

I was pretty happy with this, but it was based on a 0% deal for 10 months @5% fee. I've just received an email offering 18 months @0% for a 3.5% fee. Even better!!!!

I must post my SOA, and my also my debt totals in my signature soon. I'm quite happy with March '16, but would love to bring the date forward as we really, really want to move house and this should provide the motivation to keep on track.
