2 Debt recovery plus - (parking eye) intended court action letters

Hi all, I have 2 separate letters from DRP both with "Notice of intended court action"
The first ticket charge date is 03/12/13 and the second is 02/10/13.

I have always IGNORED all letters but I have until the 3 September 14 to pay up and wanted to get some advice on how to proceed.

Should I at least contact them and start fighting the charges?
If they go to court can they "join" the debt or does each one have to go to court separately?

I have been reading some forums but the links to some of them are a bit out of date, IE last year.

Any help would be appreciated as I am actually panicking a little.

Ok the first thing to do is stip panicking.
The second thing to do is read the one thread you do need to read, the newbie one ( see my signature).
When you get to post 4 pay particular attention. This is the one to study closely and follow the advice.

For now continue to ignore, but be aware Parking Eye are litigious, so you may get an LBCC which you will need to respond to. DRP letters are not LBCCs

Oh and if you were not the driver, you can name the driver, so that they get a new NTD and can start the appeals process as per the newbie thread.
Newbie thread: go to the top of this page and find these words: Main site > MoneySavingExpert.com Forums > Household & Travel > Motoring > Parking Tickets, Fines & Parking. Click on words Parking Tickets, Fines & Parking. Newbie thread is the first post. Blue New Thread button is just above it to left.

Same advice as all the other PE cases getting DRP letters, we get this every other day. Search the forum for 'ParkingEye Recovery Plus' (ParkingEye being one word!).
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:
Home»Motoring»Parking Tickets Fines & Parking - read the NEWBIES THREAD
