I use my local Credit Union. I have a standing order that pays into the CU account every month and if I need my money I just phone them and it is in my bank account the same day. Works for me as they don't issue any cards so I can't spend the money on a whim and I like the community aspect of supporting them too.DMP Mutual Support Thread No. 421

All my accounts are with the same bank. It's just so much easier to view and move funds around via Internet Banking - and since it's all internal, the funds reach my account immediately.
I keep my emergency fund in a bog standard savings account. That way, I can deposit/withdraw funds with ease. This account also has short term savings in it (holiday, car, expensive dress, ect.) So whenever I buy one of these things, I withdraw the extra cash and leave my emergency fund untouched.
I also have a ISA which I only deposit into. That's my long term fund which I don't want to touch any time soon.0
