Taken off the electoral roll before completion

Options
Hi all,

Me and my fianc!e have exchanged contracts on a new build that is due for completion at the end of October. Recently we were both asked to re register for the electoral roll, we have received a letter saying that some of the details that my fianc!e had submitted do not match what they have on record, the letter is dated the 31st of July and it states that if they have no response by the 14th of August she will be removed from the electoral roll (we are living with parents and the letter not filed in usual place) . Obviously we will endeavour to get her put on the electoral roll ASAP but if the relevant credit reference agencies are not updated by the time we complete will it cause an issue if nationwide do another credit search and if so is there any way to resolve it if it is an issue?

Thanks in advance

Why the need to re register?

Have you received a formal mortgage offer from the Nationwide?

We were both sent forms asking us to re register, we have a mortgage offer valid until December the house is due for completion in late October as it's a new build and we have a already exchanged contracts with the house builder. My worry is that if nationwide do a credit check again before we complete it may cause a problem as even though we have re registered again it will not show up on her credit file as apparently it can take some time before cras are updated with this information. Nothing else has changed with our credit files as we have not taken out any new credit, spent a penny on credit cards etc since way before applying for the mortgage.

    Thank you
