It's reassuring that you have had the same though. I take it everything went ok and there weren't any issues with it not being added into your overall deposit etc?
Yes everything went fine. I had never heard tell of it before either so was a little taken aback when estate agent asked for it, but I informed my solicitor straight away what was happening to make sure she knew to include the £2k in my 10% deposit.
