VHS to DVD Software

Can anyone recommend a good cheap (or free) VHS to DVD Software Download please. I have the cables etc. but the Power Director programme i am using is useless, so i want to try something else.

I have no experience of the software you mention, so it is not clear to me if you have already captured the VHS content to your hard drive.
I have used an old freeware product called VirtualDub or VDub, but from memory you need to have the drivers installed for your hardware first.
If you have the content and want to edit, convert and burn to DVD, then I can recommend ConvertXtoDVD from VSO software who do a range of video tools and have good support. Another that I have used is VideoRedo and can recommend. Both of these are commercial products.
