Beauty Boxes (Monthly Subscription) Codes and Chat Thread 2

Been reading this forum for a few months now, and tried a lot of boxes. Now have masses of moisturizers and more makeup then I will ever need lol. So I'm cutting back to My little Box, Pink Parcel and probably Birchbox, Jury is still out of BB. I've yet to try the Love Lula and Memebox. Also read Lauras blog and a few others religiously that Ive come across. Got some great tips and recommendations from them.
Pink Parcel came this morning, and boy do you get your moneys worth. Not sure about some things but the sanitary products, edible stuff and eye makeup compensate lol. Little Box as usual didn't disappoint. This is one box that stands out from the crowd. Wont say too much in case some are still waiting but for me was the best one yet. Keep up the good work guys.

LOL, yes I agree, even with my glasses on it is lost and probably gone forever in my makeup bag lol.

I received my BB. The box is ok but it's not a great deal for me. AND they send me the wrong nail varnish... At the beginning I thought that I had forgotten which one I chose, but I checked back in this thread and I found my post with my choice! They definitely sent me the wrong colour... great... thanks BB!! I would have contacted them to complain, if I cared about it! lol

This is what I received:
Models own varnish in the grey/silver shade
eyeko fat eyestick in metallic grey
benefit high beam-tiny sample
rosehip oil - another tiny sample
electric hair shampoo - travel size sample
eslor day cream - sample
a cheap PVC coin bag that smells horribly and according to BB is worth £25... That's a joke! I wouldn't even dare to give it to someone for free! Wrapped in plastic and I can still smell the PVC!

It's a Christmas box but I don't feel treated! I'll stick to pink parcel and memebox!

I got the same as you in my BB, be careful with the : eslor face cream if you have sensitive skin,..it burned like hell on my face, probably because it was so highly scented and I had to put aloe gel on it to calm it down.. that is going in the bin!

Thank you for letting me know! I am sorry you had such a reaction... I don't have sensitive skin but don't know if it's worth taking the risk, I have a lot of other creams to use. I may do some research and see if it would work well with my oily skin.

I got the same (except my nail polish was green/turquoise) but I loved it. The samples are small, but I've just resigned myself to the fact that that's what you get with BB. There's a good variety of products and decent brands still, and I love the box design The purse is cheaply made I agree!

I loved my BB this month, except the polish - it became thick and gloopy very quickly, and pretty much set like concrete. I'm glad I tested it on my toenails first. I don't mind small samples when its something where you only need a tiny amount or when its very high end.

I am still waiting for delivery of my brotish beauty blogger box from latest in beauty. Been almost 4 weeks since I ordered it. It's been sent with yodel But God knows where it is!

Loved my all boxed up winter box. The products were great and not too long for delivery either.

Great news! How did they send it to you? I had a missed Royal Mail delivery yesterday, but just went to the sorting office and they can't find it so I'm trying to figure out what it's likely to be (grr).
