I got Birchbox this month - it was 'middling'.

Spoilers in white..


Lord and Berry blush (but not in a proper container, it was just a pan of it in a plastic cover)

The bonus item was a ponytail band that actually was quite nice, if my hair wasn't so short!

I didn't like Birchbox, this month, I didn't expect to have a ponytail holder as an item in the box

Anyone else who managed to get a Cohorted box for August disappointed?
I was so excited after seeing the previous ones. It was really really meh. Definitely won't go to the trouble of getting one again.

Yeah, I received my Cohorted box and the Cargo palette (yet another one) was damaged. I've emailed then but so far they are ignoring me. The tow palettes are also almost identical colour wise which is pants. Not ordering the september box that's for sure.

Heads up for those interested - Cohorted Beauty box is on pre-sale tomorrow from 6pm. Won't be buying as thoroughly unimpressed with the August box (two eye palettes of almost the same colours) and previous boxes have been somewhat lacklustre too. Will stick to Latest in Beauty (the haircare box is excellent for the reduced price!)

My Cargo palette had some sort of sheen on the plastic like it had had a sticker all over it or something. And it's brown. I'm definitely not buying another one.

It's the third Cargo palette from them I think since they started the boxes.

Fortune Cookie Soap have a Halloween box out. It's not part of the subscription and costs $34 to the UK. Will include sample size products on a "Zombie" theme...though hopefully the scents won't include rotting flesh!
