Which vintage style ladies bike?

Hello
I would appreciate some advice
Currently I am looking for a vintage style ladies bike for a bit of recreational cycling. I will mainly be cycling in parks and reasonably flat places so I just need the bike to be comfy and pretty
The bikes I have looked at have included the Dawes Duchess and the Viking Vintage bikes however I am open to looking at others.
Thank you

Have a look at Pashley - a bit pricey but traditional and high quality. The Princess range might fit your needs.

eBay is your friend for ladies bikes. I'd recommend one that you can attach a pannier rack to, has hub gears and dynamo lighting.
Ooh, get a knitted skirt-guard too!It's only numbers.0 -
I got a Victoria Pendleton bike from Halfords. It was about £180 and so far it has worked great for me. I go around town and do shopping as well as bike come with a large panier included. It has 7 gears and a step-through bar -great if you are wearing skirts or don't want to strain you hip...............................................................................

Another vote for eBay - a vintage Raleigh Cameo will give you (foolproof) hub gears and a comfy upright riding position for under £150. For a secondhand Pashley I'd expect to spend around £200-£300. Alternatively, if you've got your heart set on a new bike, the Decathlon Elops 100 is a sound bet, or the Bobbin Birdie.2015 comp wins - £370.25
Recent wins: gym class, baby stuff
Thanks to everyone who posts freebies and comps! :j0 -

Pashley, every time, they're beautiful bikes, I was heartbroken when I had to sell mine. I do hope to get another one day.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0

I have just bought this (picked it up on Wednesday)
http://www.evanscycles.com/products/dawes/duchess-womens-hybrid-bike-ec035297
in cream/purple with flowers
and it is BEE-YOO-TI-FOOL
I absolutely love it, and it is a dream to ride.
Don't be fooled by the picture. It is NOT that pale cream colour - it's more a cross between lime green and mustard, which was a bit of a shock when they brought it out, but I soon got over it, and as I said, I love it.0 -
My wife likes her Dawes Duchess, bought a few months back. The bike shop threw in a rear rack for free as well. Not too heavy either.
If you have to lift the bike, (or go up hills) avoid the Pashley. They are heavy - REALLY heavy.0 -
I've got a Dawes Cambridge. I liked the Duchess etc but they were very girly / samey, my bike is feminine but a little bit quirky. Colour in real life is lovely, more metallic than in photos and it's heaven to ride. (Especially after the bike I have to ride at work!)0
